Evanston Women's Business Center recognizes that there are several key factors to why small businesses do not succeed. One factor is lack of capital to enhance their visibility to grow that will create a sustainable foundation for their business. Second factor is the lack of resources, education and support. And lastly, systematic inequality, including the racial, equitable gap and disparities in business ownership in which continues to grow.
Mission: Evanston Women's Business Center is a non-profit equity and inclusive organization serving the Evanston community to raise awareness about non-profit organizations, LGBTQ, women-owned, and minority businesses; products and services through education, gathers, networking, and resources.
The Work We Do: Evanston Women's Business Center hosts monthly educational seminars with SCORE and SBA to enhance the growth of small businesses, new start ups, and mother based businesses, with an emphasize providing women businesses a boost to grow their vision. Providing a level of education along with corporate skill sets to ladies who need to grow their tool box and find employment to sustain their family, followed by grooming young women to grow into their skin and become confident through their academic career that will transition into college choices, and future decisions.

Evanston Women’s Business Center Serving the North Shore (EWBC) is a membership organization and a free hub to patrons who need assistance in business by industry experts. EWBC will provide programs, resources, and create opportunity to enhance the quality of lives of entrepreneurs, professionals, and Business Services in Evanston and the North Shore.
